Until then, it's smart to be wary especially if you're a person who doesn't care to look for or know what to look for when running an unknown program. If people in the comments are saying it's clean (especially because this is a magnet, so both the source and the build are important) then that's great and people can come to a consensus that this is a reliable source. So until there's a verified way to get a safe cracked version, people shouldn't just be running the first build they come across. And I've heard of cracked builds that are clean.
Sure, you can block those IPs with a firewall (and if that's all, then the user blocking the IPs has made it safe), but it's really odd those IPs show up in the first place considering the actual build doesn't show those connections. On Virustotal those collections show files that are flagged as malware, and even comments stating such. Literally every single social media nice EA would make would be inundated asking for skate 4. The difference is that the fanbase has been exceptionally vocal. Its been 12 years and while thats a long time, its not unheard of in video games for series to lay dormant for some time.
